Nipple Reconstruction

Hello Canadians! I am in Montreal being followed at the Jewish General. I have finally had my exchange surgery scheduled for next month. I am so excited and grateful to be getting rid of this expander. I've had it for a year because of our lovely waiting lists in Quebec. However, I don't think I'll feel complete without some sort of reconstruction of the nipple. I'm not sure how this is usually done and if any of the procedure is covered by medicare? If it isn't, can I get this done at a private plastic surgeon's office? How much does it cost? Thoughts/advice/comments on anything relating to this topic would be greatly appreciated!
