I think that's a personal choice, like soy. Some think its bad, some think its ok. Most commercial meats come from animals that have been fed hormones to make them grow larger. There are organic, grain fed meats available that state on the package "no hormones". My onco's take on it is " in moderation ". I usually try to buy Springer Mountain chicken because its hormone free and we eat a lot of chicken.

Zohra, I don't think there's any right or wrong answer because we're not all the same. If you want to eat the animal products you listed above, it's probably wise to do it in moderation, and to choose the healthiest ones you can afford, which means natural (hormone-free) poultry and Omega-3 enriched eggs. Many integrative and naturopathic doctors advocate a plant-based diet, but some people are happier and feel better on a Paleo diet.

As far as fish goes, wild caught is better than farm-raised, which I've been told is no better than eating beef due it's high fat content. Here's a recent article on Tilapia that illustrates another potential problem with farm-raised fish. http://naturallysavvy.com/eat/the-trouble-with-tilapia You also have to be careful not to eat too much fish due to the mercury content in some deep sea species.

Milk and milk products, OTOH, may be something to consider eliminating or cutting way back on because there is evidence that those products can have an excess of hormones because dairy cows, at least in the US, are frequently kept pregnant. Plus there's some very recent research that suggests that full fat dairy contributes to bc.

But no matter what you do, don't stress about it. Figuring it out usually isn't an overnight thing, but more of a process based on what works for your body. Deanna
