Radiation and Implants

I had my reconstruction surgery on 10/30. I'll probably start radiation in Dec/Jan (have to wait for referrals/auths...). My therapist who helps me with my lymphedema is going to help me with my implants as well in that radiation can make implants hard. She has massages for them that I'll be able to do. Those who had radiation AFTER implants, have you experienced this? What have you done to help it?
