So scared

I have a small red area near my areolea. It is about the size of a pencil eraser. It has been there about a week. I have been on antibiotics and antibiotic cream. It hasn't changed. I am very scared. I have had a doctor and nurse practitioner look at it. They don't feel that it is anything to worry about but I am so scared. Can any of you share experiences.? Always had achy breasts. Other than that I don't seem to have any other symptoms.

    Hi Beth,


    Its no good battling on in fear - is there any way you can get before a breast nurse or breast surgeon? IBC is very rare but they are the best to advise you, and if you are unlucky enough to be diagnosed with IBC time is of the essance.
