Yearly Mamogram

I have my yearly mamogram at the end of this month.  Last year's mamogram is when I realized I had lymphedema.  I almost passed out it hurt so bad.  Anyone have any suggestions on anything I can do ahead of time so that it doesn't hurt so bad?  I was thinking about taking advil or alleve before my appointment and giving up caffeine a week before.

You can cover your entire breast with lidocaine cream. It will not interfere with the test results. I used prescription strength from my doctor.
