My sister has been dianogsed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer, she's only 43. If there is anyone who has or had this type on cancer or knows an excellent doctor in Southern California with experience, my family and I would greatly appreciate your help.

I'm IBC.  I was DX'd in early Aug, '09 and am still NED (No Evidence of Disease) 4+ yrs later.  As far as I know today - never know what 'tomorrow' will bring in life.

Can't help you on info for So Cal.  Haven't lived there since 1989 and we were out in the Mojave then at NWC China Lake.

I highly recommend Dr. Philomena McAndrew.  Office is in Beverly Hills.  Affiliated with Cedars-Sinai.  She was my MO (medical oncologist) and is wonderful.

My sister and I both live in Yucaipa. I have also contacted City of Hope for her. I want to have her a second opinion. We have heard good things about them. She's starting her Chemo Tuesday.
