Depending on favourable weather conditions for surgery here would leave maybe a few days a year. I cannot imagine how long the wait list would be!Shocked

Caryn...I was lurking this thread and saw the original post from Natty. I am sorry you, your daughter, and anyone in this community dealing with a cancer dx, or having a loved one with a cancer dx, had to see that. I would have been horrified if someone had said something like that to my own mother in respect to her cancer dx. Her comments truly were indefensible.

    Abigail,

The child is a 23 year old woman who is a regular reader of bco. Your suspicion is not only incorrect, but regardless, the post was so vicious and cruel that nothing, NOTHING, that went before it should have merited such a response. Do you really support such cruelty? No matter our differences, it was totally inexcusable and vile.

    Mods,

I'm sorry this has gotten so off track from the topic. I think many are just totally astounded that natty is still permitted to post on bco.

Mods... I would respecfully point out that "blocking" or "not engaging" the said member further for the comment made is, quite simply, not appropriate given the viciousness of the statement.  NattyGroves should be banned.  Period.

That said, I'm not going to comment further on the issue.  My support is fully behind Caryn and my opinion has been clearly stated; I wish to - formally - go on record raising a firm objection to this type of individual being allowed to post on a "friendly and supportive" board.

All -- the comment which you are referencing had been reported and was subsequently removed by the Mods, and also the offending poster WAS issued a temporary ban. That ban has now expired, but does count toward any future blemishes, which could eventually result in a permanent ban.

Please rest assured that we are in fact keeping our eye on all situations and do strive to keep all members happy. But certainly rehashing an issue that is weeks old will not help anyone move past it. Again, we encourage you to move along, stick to the topic at hand, and if you find that you can not do so, please read and post elsewhere.

I agree with the Mods, let's move on.

Some of you are irritated with Abigail for rehashing, yet you keep rehashing yourselves.  Today is a new day! Happy
