Does anyone else love aquariums?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if any of you share my love for aquarium fish? I always had tanks in my younger days and all through college. After the year of treatments I have had- 3 surgeries, chemo, side effects, radiation, I decided that I really need an aquarium in my life again to help me relax. And finally,  I am strong enough to take care of it properly.

My wonderful hubby helped me set up a 35 gallon tank in our living room last month. Today is my birthday and I got to pick out my fish last night. I am SOO happy to see them in the tank. They look great. I have a peaceful  planted livebearer tank and some cardinal tetras. So beautiful.

Life is too short to delay having the things we love around us.

Hugs to all, I would enjoy hearing about your fish if you have some! Or also where you have visited cool public aquariums. Those will be among my "go to destinations" when I travel now.

I have certainly "missed the fish" for the last decade!
