Anyone have recurrence of DCIS or ADH diagnosis after DCIS?

I was diagnosed with DCIS 4 years ago, and after a stereotactic biopsy, was told that I have ADH, and DCIS can't be ruled out. I am meeting with a breast surgeon next week and will schedule an excisional biopsy. I would love to hear experiences of women who have had a recurrence of DCIS or have been diagnosed with ADH after having DCIS.

I am sorry to hear you have had issues again. I have not had a recurrence, or been "diagnosed" with ADH since my original diagnosis; however, I had ADH in most of my lumpectomy margins. Since I did not have a re-excision, I am pretty sure there is still ADH in my remaining breast tissue. It has not been an issue for me to date.

Thanks, BL. It's comforting to know you've had some ADH for awhile and it hasn't been a problem.
