hello...I chose to have a nipple-sparing double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction on October 7th after finding a 2.2m lump in my right breast (7.8 cm from my nipple). My 5 page pathology report after surgery revealed clear labs. Clean margins and NO lymph node activity. I was so relieved. Then I followed up with an oncologist who recommended 3-4 chemo treatments as precautionary. I was floored. I'm so frightened.


I am Brca2 positive and triple negative.
