Anniversary Date

Hi, didn't know where to ask this. From what date do you use for your anniversary date? Date of dx, date of last active treatment or what? Just finished with chemo on Sept. 19th. Still have some reconstruction surgery to go. Just started on Tamoxifen.

    I asked this question and my breast surgeon said at the point of surgery to remove the tumor. But I was actually dx'd 7 months previous to this (had neo adjuvant chemo).


    That's how I count it.

    I count my anniversary date as the day I had my UMX. That is when the cancer was removed from my body and that is when I consider myself cancer free. Had my 1 year cancer free anniversary Oct. 1!
