Very cool. thanks for sharing. Especially the part about how different it is from the standard gene approach. Though I'm not saying standard gene approach could not lead to a cure, many of the discoveries based on single-gene knockouts may not pare out in translation to a cure. That said, a combination of them could still lead to a cure. HIV AIDS were cured with a drug cocktails even before we knew much less than we do now about the immune system.
