Went for my 6 month check-up and sending me for ultrasound

Hi, went to my 6 month check-up, feeling pretty positive everything was going to be a-okay. Dr. examined me while sitting up, found the lump that he had diagnosed as scar tissue a couple months before, but then when he was examining me lying down, that same lump made him concerned and he said he would like me to have an ultrasound on it.

Kind of freaking out just a little bit, and was wondering if anyone could tell me what the heck he thinks he "might" find.

I hang my head in shame that I did not take this well after I left the drs. office. I was mad and kicking tires like a child that I didn't get my way and have a great appt, with not hiccups. Today, I am feeling more adult about the whole thing, and will of course deal with whatever comes along, but darn it. Friday (the day of the ultrasound) is only 2 days away, but seems like forever.

Good luck on Friday! Odds are that this is scar tissue but after a breast cancer diagnosis, doctors are extra careful with us. That's probably why you are being sent for the ultrasound. Hopefully nothing more than the ultrasound will be necessary and then you'll be given the 'all clear'.
