Hey guys, on April 12th 2013 I was diagnosed with TNBC.

Since then (at age 33) I had a bi-lateral mastectomy, chemo (AC and Taxol) and now doing radiation (5 weeks)

I am stage 3. 23 nodes removed (6 positive).

I have asked my oncologist to tell me what my survival rate is and he says not to focus on that. Well that is easier said than done.

Any one else with nodes that are positive in stage 3? How is it going for you? Any advice? Does diet really matter?

And what about lymphedema? I am scared about that too.

I can't sleep at night. I put on about 30 pounds (I think because of the steroids, but also because I am sad and scared at night...I can't shut my brain up). As of September 20th I have been walking 3-5 miles a day (super tired but that's what I get for eating so much)
