Hi!!!

I am 35 married, with not children, and when I was 32 (03/2011) was diagnosed with IDC, 4cm, Stage IIIa, Grade 3, ER-/PR-, HER2+ breast cancer, was treated with 04/13/2011 Adriamycin, Cytoxan, Taxol, 11/04/2011 Lumpectomy (Left); Lymph Node Removal: Axillary Lymph Node Dissection (Left), 01/15/2012 External, and Herceptin for 1 year finish on 8/2012. Thank God I had a good response to the treatment and since July/2011 when in the middle of the chemo treatment already the doctor couldn't feel the tumors, and when the surgery was done the results came negative, they didn't find any cancer cells, since then I AM OFFICIALLY IN REMISION!!!!..... My oncologist advice is that I should wait at least THREE years to start thinking about pregnancy, but my husband and I really want to start trying now, we don't want to keep letting the time pass by, and getting older every day.... The oncologist argument is not that I have any physical problem to be able to get pregnant, but his concern is statistics.... those statistics that say that the risk of recurrence is higher during the three years following the treatment.... I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.... I really want to be a mom, and every time my husband and I see a baby, or a pregnant woman, or children in general even if he try or I try we can not hide that we feel sad that we have not children of our own. Today he asked me how long more we should wait? WHAT DO YOU ADVICE ME????
