I wanted P for Salvador Perez- the KC Royals catcher and my favorite player! What a smile!

    Ok, Q is tough:

Sorry to keep listing Royals, but Dan Quissenberry was a great KC pitcher from the 80's who became a poet, then died at 45 of brain cancer. Quite a guy!

Otherwise, I guess actor Aiden Quinn.

No one else terribly interesting. William Quatrill was a bad guy who nearly burned down Lawrence KS during the Civil War. Not quite date material.

    Ruth,

I have also been interested in the Fitzgeralds. Read several books about them and Hemingway. A unique one is Z:A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald by Fowler.

Kaption, I have read Z too. Fascinating. I just reread Gatsby and was entranced again by F. Scott's writing style. Have you read Paula McLain's The Paris Wife, about Hemingway's first wife? That is a very interesting take on them.

Okay, back to the game, I picked the last people, so someone else gets the Gs
