Anyone Get Worse Hotflashes on High Dose, Long Term Prednisone?

I had my ovaries and tubes removed in November 2011. My hot flashes had calmed down in 2013, but I have found that while on long term high dose Prednisone since August, they are terrible again.
I started in August 2013 on 60 mg of Prednisone for two weeks. Since that time I have decreased the amount by 5 mg every fourth day so I don't end until October 2013.
I have noticed that my hot flashes are so much worse again.
Has anyone else with a situation similar to mine had the same thing? I am just wondering if anyone else noticed this side effect.
I have read online it can make hot flashes worse and cause night sweats.
