How long does it take for the swelling from steroids to go away?

Hi everyone!
I have finished with my Taxol and was on 8mg a day of dexamethason(decadron) for 4 weeks for the severe hand-foot syndrome I had. Now I am being weened off (thank goodness!) stepping down at 2mg, then 1mg and would just like to know how long it takes after you stop for the swelling/moonface/neck hump to go away. I feel and look like the StayPuff Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters!
If anyone has any experience with this- I would really love to hear about it.
