Ringing in ears

I completed chemo in Aug of this year and just completed rads. About 2 weeks ago I developed ringing in my ears and head congestion. The head congestion is manageable but the ringing in my ears is driving me crazy. Could this be an after effect of the chemo? It seemed to start just after I started Tamoxafin as well.

I developed tinnitus due to a med. After much trial and error, managing my reaction to the ringing came down to running a fan at night and taking Ativan when I got too stressed. It took a year, but the ringing finally went away.

My experience and what I read said it did. That's why the ativan is so helpful. :-)



When I figured out how to deal with ringing, I began to chill. Hope it gets easier for you.

Hmm ever since I read this and can relax a little that it is probably not something terrible,it has gone away lol!!! I hope it stays that way!!
