Before surgery or chemo, setup a meal delivery system online

I can't believe this isn't part of all the 'to do lists' on this site bec. it's really saved me & my husband! Before my surgery, a friend setup a meal train for me at http://mealtrain.com/ (another similar site is http://www.takethemameal.com/ ). It's free & you can sign up by email or thru Facebook. Send the link around & ppl can sign up to deliver you a meal for whatever dates you need, whatever food you tell them. Fully customized. The system sends reminder emails & coordinates everything so you don't have to.



The #1 thing ppl offer to do to help is make food, which is great & needed, but you don't want to end up with 12 lasagnas stuffing the fridge (esp. if you hate lasagna . And when you aren't able to eat (such as during chemo) at least your family can get dinner without having yet another thing to do, since they're prob. stressed too.
