Diagnosed over seas, what is next?

Dear forum users,

A friend of mine is diagnosed with IDC, stage IIIA while spending a short period of her maternity leave overseas. She has started with the first cyle of her chemo under the advise of the local doctor. The return flight to Canada (booked before she took the leave) is by the end of the month (close to the end of the first cyle of her chemo).

I was wondering to continue her treatment in Ontario, what would need to be done for such a transition? Does she need to grow through the diagnose all over again before entering the treatment?
