hysterectomy after radiation

Does anybody know how long you have to wait to get surgery (hysterectomy) after radiation? I'm done with radiation September 10th, 2013 and am scheduled for my Hysterectomy on September 20th. But the nurse then told me that I might have to wait and see if the doctor says that it's enough time in between and I might have to wait a couple more weeks to get the hysterectomy,ugh! I'm hoping to do this soon. I do not want to take the Tamoxifen. I really do not want the side effects that come with it. So hoping to get my hysterectomy soon.
