    Does anyone on this forum have fibroids and taking a Taxotere + Cytoxan infusion? 

    If yes, what is your experience?

    I have a fibroid and I did taxotere/cytoxan/herceptin.  I don't believe that the chemo had any effect on my fibroid.  It was big before I started chemo (8cm, I believe) and I think it is big now.  I did have some pain(more, like discomfort) in the fibroid area after completing chemo but my Dr. assures me that the chemo had nothing to do with it.  What concerns me more is the effect of tamoxifen on my fibroid.  I've read that tamoxifen can make fibroids grow.  I get regular ultrasounds with my OB just to make sure that it's not growing.  My next appt happens to be next week.
