sounds good! I guess a Sat or Sun?
-
I'd like to join you if that's okay.
-
I've heard of Plant City. I am in Clermont which is just west of Orlando
-
Sure Lee! The more the merrier!
-
If we do it on a weekend Fl Warrior will join us!
-
That would be great !
-
I have off Fridays and Saturdays. But every other week I'm still getting Chemo for the next two months
-
nothing in stone, how are you feeling with it?
-
Well, I finished the red devil over a week ago. I know move on to Taxol. I don't know how I will respond to this one. The first one would knock my on my butt for five days. It took me at least a week to have 100% of my energy back. They say Taxol is easier to tolerate. I'm going every other week for that for four treatments then rads. I'm hopeful I will do much better on this one.

It's ok HomeMom, we don't have to meet if you're not up to it. We understand!! That's the great thing about this place, we've all been there done that! It's nice to know there's someone close by that understands. My daughter doesn't. She says it's all in my mind. I'm cheering you on that the next round will be easier on you and sending you ((hugs)).

when you're feeling up to it HomeMom we'll have to plan a get together on a weekend day and hopefully find a spot that's not too big of a drive for everyone. Something right off I-4 , maybe exit19 which is near Plant City. That's about 45min from downtown Tampa and I think about the same time to Kissimee.
They have an Outback Restaurant, a Carrabas, and there's a Starbucks too. A little more east, near Lakeland, there is a Cracker Barrel right off the highway. Something to keep in mind!
-
Lee that's an easy drive for me! I will be finished with chemo end of August.
-
I think all of us that go to Florida hosp cancer institute or orlando hemacology should just meet at their office in winter park! Jimmy hulas around the corner has great tacos!
-
I could handle that since this Taxol is much easier to tolerate. Or maybe when I'm getting rads. WP isn't far from the hopsital that's for sure. I really want to pop into the Good Will Boutique they have there.

I started a new thread to keep everything together in one for the get together, here's the link:
