    After reading the paper, rather quickly, it seems that it is sufficient Vit D levels that impact stable bone density.  Calcium should come as much from diet as possible.  I've raised my Vit D level from 30 to the high 90s at the last blood test.  I have a DEXA scheduled in October.  I'm curious if this has kept the density stable.  In winter I supplement with 4000 iu and in summer 2000 iu.  This is not counting the Vit D I get in through means.

    musical, thanks for posting. That's weird. When I saw this yesterday evening I had the same problem too. Now when I checked (and had time to debug the problem) it's working again. Maybe their website was down or ?

    I had 2 bone density scans , one every 2 yrs, and thank GOD they both came back normal, I was low on vit D, so i,m now on 1000mg of D, and 1200 calcium. msphil(idc, stage2, 0/3 nodes, L mast, chemo and rads and 5 yrs on Tamoxifen) God Bless Us ALL>
