Is the constant urge to vomit a normal side effect of chemo therapy? how long can this continue??

Also will the side effect continue after every chemo therapy?? Kindly help me.

Hi user5600 if you have this side effect please ring your oncologist and request some anti nausea medication and if you already have some, request more.



Nausea is a common SE of chemo but there are many medications available to help stop that feeling so it is not necessary to suffer.

yes, ditto Chrissy, let your oncologist know immediately! You should have prescription-strength nausea meds on hand at all times, and use it as you need it. It is very effective for most people, so it is usually not necessary to suffer that way!
