Well, after trying silvadene for 2 weeks, still had to have surgery and debriment for area of necrosis under left arm and small section on my back where PS got skin flap during masectomy. Thank goodness there were no surprise pockets of infecion or necrosis. Everything was at top skin layer. Should only delay start of radiation by 1-2 wks. Look forward to removing dressings on Thursday and seeing my PS's work. For now, Will rest and recover. Pain meds keeping me comfy.
