Second Radiation Therapy to the Neck?

Hi everyone.  It has been 5 months since my mother finished a very high dose of radiation to the tumours in her neck (all of them disappeared).  Now it looks like we have some new tumours on the other side of the neck, lower down.  Is it true that she can't have radiation again?  I really appreciate any advice.

    Tara, I think the problem is to have radiation to the same area twice. Since the new tumors are in a different location then I think it can be used.
