Insurance Denied

My Dr. has requested I have 5 & 6  Taxotere + Cytoxa. There reason is only 4 sessions of this chemo mix is needed for TNBC.  My cancer is aggressive and I have a very large group of family members that have died with cancer. They are deffinatelly looking after the insurance company and not me. Any ideas of what I can do to change this?

    It all comes down to the insurance you have and the appeals process. Has the Drs. office appealed yet?



    Appeals can go Both to the company and, if you are in the US, the state insurance office.



    For sure start the 4 sessions allowed while the office appeals. I hope the 4 sessions are successful and that your doctor is good at writing appeals.
