When did your hair start to fall . . .
when taking T/C when did your hair start to fall?
How about your eyelashes + brows?
How long after chemo did your hair start to grow back?

Hard to remember now. I shaved my head close to the 3 week mark so that makes it harder to remember. But it wasn't long after that point where I could see stubble falling out. Eyelashes and eyebrows hung on longer. By my last treatment, my left eye only had 3 upper lashes and a couple of lower ones. I gave them pep talks every day! I had noticable regrowth in my hair at about 10 weeks post final chemo and started going without hats and hairpieces at that point. It was still VERY short but it was hair.

Usually on Taxotere you start losing hair about day 14, but mine held on almost completely until day 24, which is unusual. I did not ever lose my eyebrows completely, they just thinned. I lost all bottom lashes about half way through, and lost top except for half a dozen on each side. I never went completely bald and did not shave my head all the way to the scalp - I had my DH buzz it down to about 1/2 inch and that hair did not all fall out. It sort of looked like I smeared a dust bunny around on my head. I was on Herceptin so my hair did not take off super fast when chemo was done, but I got my first haircut within a few months of finishing chemo. My hairdresser said I needed to cut it more than I would want to so it would look more like a "hairstyle" than a chia pet. I did not cycle with brows or lashes, only thinned/lost the one time, but my brows are thinner now than before chemo, lashes pretty similar to the way they were. I don't have to pluck stray brows now I don't seem to be growing them, but I did have to shave my legs throughout chemo - weird, right? And totally not fair, lol! My avatar picture was taken in April and I have cut my hair about 10 times, I am 2 years PFC, 18 months from last Herceptin.

My hair started coming out about day 12 after first chemo.
I then had it cut very short.
I started wearing buffs. Www.buffusa.com
I have not completly lost my hair. I finished my final, 4th round TC on Jlpuly 8th.
Wile my hair started coming out on day 12 of first round it slowed considerably, and then after round four, my final round, started to come out more.
My hair has grown about an inch or more since my initial haircut, which is fast for me.
I never lost my eyebrows (one thinned a bit) and kept my eyelashes.
I am now 6 weeks post chemo and my hair is still coming out from my head.
My leg hair is growing back (darn), no underarm hair, and my nether regions are still lacking most of the hair.
I am actually considering going topless (without head covering) in a few weeks when I am a godmother at my new nieces christening. My hair is really thinned out though, so I don't know if I will have the nerve. I am not yet 50 but feel I have the thinned out hair of an 80 year old (not that all 80 year olds have thinned out hair!)

Mine started on day 16. Buzzed it to 1/2". I also developed a pretty good case of folliculitis until all the stuble fell out. So if you start to get little red bumps, it's normal. That was one side effect they didnt mention in chemo class. Kept my lashes & brows until chemo ended then one night I wiped my bottom lashes off. Just have to laugh and roll with the punches =:0)

Hair started falling out 14 days after 1st treatment. Strangely my white blonde hairs never fell out so I still kept some eyebrows and lashes, although thinner. Hair started coming in 6 weeks after last treatment.

My hair started thinning on day 7 after my first treatment and then fell out in clumps on day 14. I shaved it then and it continued to come out until I was completely bald and it happened super fast. I did not lose my eyebrows/eyelashes until 4 weeks after I finished chemo. I now have them growing back in and my hair is about a 1/2 inch long and I finished chemo on May 14th.

Mine started falling out with AC around day 15. AC was followed by TC. Eyebrows and lashes didn't fall out til after TC chemo was done lol. Hair grew back white/grey at first within 5 Weeks post chemo
