Breast Cancer Awareness in my Community

Hello everyone, my name is Catherine. My grandmother has been diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago and it truly was hard seeing her struggle through the cancer. She lives in Taiwan and I was attending school in Las Vegas. For my grandmother, I transferred to an online school so my family and I could travel to Taiwan for a few weeks to care for her. It was a very hard and emotional part of my life that I do not wish upon anyone to go through. Seeing someone you care and love suffer through the pain and treatments is very tough. 

I am currently running for Miss Asian Las Vegas and this pageant is honoring us with choosing a platform or cause to represent. Because I have been personally affected by breast cancer, I chose Breast Cancer Awareness as my platform. Also, if anyone has advice or more information to give me on how to spread Breast Cancer Awareness, this would be very helpful and great.
