chemo brain-missed my chemo appt and worried

I realized tonight- after the cancer center office closed - that I missed my chemo appt which should have been yesterday.My kids start school next week and Ive had it in my head that my appt. Was the week they started school. I am beating myself up over this- hoping I havent compromised anything. Will this affect my treatment progress to be late? Ill try to get in tomorrow, but if I cant, it will b next week.Thanks for any input or words of wisdom!

I don't think it will make a bit of difference. I had to delay tx once by a week because my white count was too low. It happens for different reasons. Just call and reschedule as soon as you can so you won't worry about it.

One time during AC, I arrived at the cancer center and a water main flooded the whole building.  I was SOOOOO HAPPY!  They put my chemo off a week.  It was a gift from God!

It will be fine!  They will understand.
