HELP !!!!!!! Tenderness under left breast

Hi everyone!

I am actually concerned about my Mom.  I am going to give you as much info as I know/can remember...sorry.

Approx 10 years ago, my Mom was diagnosed w/rare breast cancer in milk duct (right breast).  My Mom decided to have a double mystecomy because at the time she was 38 F (big for her small frame).  She did not have to have Chemo/radiation...Thank God.  She is now 74 yrs old and has had no problems since surgery. She did get saline filled implants immediately after surgery.

Approx 3 weeks ago, she started having a tenderness feeling under her left breast.  She said it is not painful, just tender.  Last week they sent her to have a mammogram w/ultrasound and everything came back normal.  But asked her to folow up w/Dr. who did her orginal surgery that possibly he would order more tests. They did mention to her it could be scar tissue causing that.

Has anyone had this kind of issue?  Could it be scar tissue?  Could it be the "C" again?  My Sisters and I are concerned.

Since no one has responded, it might be better to post this under the Breast Reconstruction forum.  I had a lumpectomy about 2 years ago, so I cannot otherwise help you.
