I am married to a wonderful man who happens to be very healthy and who has a very high sex drive.  Since undergoing chemo from January through June, we have had sex twice and for me it is now very painful.  I have searced the forums for information on dealing with this problem and I have found nothing.  I will undergo a modified radical mastectomy and total lymph node dissection next Monday, August 19.  After that my MO will be prescribe an AI, and from what I have learned, sex is really painful after being on that drug.  I really love my husband and hate to give up a part of our lives which has brought us both such great joy.  Does anyone have any advice for me?

If you use the search option you can find an old thread called, "I want my mojo back".  Good luck with your upcoming surgery.

You can also search on line for recipes for 'Scream Cream'. It contains lidocaine as well as lubricants which really help with the deadening the pain but not the pleasure.

Good luck with your surgery, hope it all goes well for you.

    Love n hugs. Chrissy
