On average- how long where you told to wait to resume physical activities (exercising/lifting) after a biopsy.

I am having a stereotopic biopsy (with a core needle?) this week( Wednesday) if that makes a difference.
This was part of the information given to me over the phone- but I was a bit distracted and overwhelmed with everything that I cannot now remember. They will ofcourse go over this stuff with me the day of- but I am just trying to make some tentative plans.

Thanks for any information that you provide!

Just a day or two, but you will have steri-strips that need to stay on a while & arm/chest exercises are going to pull on them.

Please be careful with cardio! Bouncing is not good for a healing breast. I have myself a hematoma doing jumping jacks (love them!) a few days after biopsy.

Honestly, I do not like to go a day without working out, but looking back at all the tests, surgeries ... etc, I wish I had given myself more time to heal.

Call for further clarification. They should understand. Also, I don't mean to be a fitness snob or anything, but I liked to get direction about working out from people who worked out. I thought they got it a little better.
