Most effective time to apply drugs

I wonder if the principles involved with this research about killing fruit flies could be beneficially applied to determine the optimum time of day to apply hormonal or toxic treatments to breast cancer, so that toxicity would be greater and perhaps dosage could even be reduced?

I recall (pre-bc diagnosis) that timing of chemo was crucially important and that the thought of more was not always better.  This is interesting.
