    Hello hkvarshney

I was so sorry to hear about all the problems your wife is having with TNBC that has spread in her body. I am sorry that she is in so much pain even with morphine.

I think you need to deal with all of this with her medical team and ask for an explanation about why her mastectomy wound has not healed after four months. Only her doctors will be able to answer this and tell you why and if this is connected to her general health and other health problems.

On these threads we are not doctors and are not qualified to give advice. What we can do is try to give you support and comfort at this very difficult time.

You are quite welcome to join my thread which is Calling all triple negative breast cancer patients in the UK, but is open to anyone anywhere in the world. We have two husbands here whose wives went through TNBC.

Sending you my very best wishes.

    Sylvia.

hkvarshney, being a diabetic myself and aware of our healing problems, has your wife seen the doctor who normally treats her diabetes.  Oncologists are not diabetes experts.

I can't say anything about the pain, but as a long-shot, perhaps it is related in some way to the non-healing problem.  I am so sorry she is having such a rough time.  Sending my prayers and best wishes for a speedy recovery.

    Carol
