Would MRI pick up mets in bones?

I had an MRI due to a knee sprain. The doc said I had bone on bone condition and would need a knee replacement, but otherwise the MRI didn't show anything serious. No fracture or anything like that.

On the way out I got a copy of the MRI report. Contrary to what he said, the report showed tears in several places on the meniscus, a Baker's Cyst and a fracture (which he said I didn't have) it also showed "fragments" I'm assuming bone?

Now I'm concerned. Would mets be on this report and how would they be identified? It was obvious that the doc only looked at the MRI picture. Would it how mets? I'm hoping I don't have them, but the sprain has lasted for 5 weeks and my knee still hurts. The doc said it was probably just a bone bruise (which was NOT mentioned in the report)

Thoughts?
