Pain under right shoulder blade

About 2 weeks ago I noticed a pain under my right shoulder blade and it is getting worse.  Last night I was up part of the time in pain.  It is not going away.  I am terrified.  Has anybody else experienced this and have it be something relatively benign?  Conversely, did anybody have this and it turn out to be mets?  Any insight would be most helpful.

    I had extreme pain in/under my left shoulder blade. MO did a PT/CT scan, which showed no mets. PT therapist thinks it was an issue created by my BMX and radiation. My top rib was pushing upwards and also a nerve was becoming entrapped. Many PT sessions of massage and at home PT exercises and I am doing so much better.

    I have had increasing pain in my shoulder blade the last few days. I am nervous because I had the same pain before my original diagnosis. I am scheduled to see my oncologist in a couple of weeks, but think I should give her a call to see if I can get in sooner. I hope it's just too much iPad use or something like that, although it seems a little extreme for that.
