Tested for BRCA1 mutation & Mammogram-waiting on results

What a whirlwind two weeks. We found out thankfully that my sister's granuloma was benign and they will watch it closely. With that out of the way, I took my 1st cousin's BRCA1 paperwork to my former OBGYN specialist and he agreed that I should see the genetic counselor to discuss testing. He felt a lump on my right breast near the armpit on exam and sent me immediately for a mammogram. I then went for my afternoon appointment with the genetic counselor who did family "mapping" and gave me a ton of excellent information. I did go ahead with the test and she said I would have the results in 2-3 weeks. It seems like an eternity...............
