Advice for carers?

Hi everyone. My mum has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, and has had a mastectomy. She will be starting chemo next week, then radiation after that. I am the primary caregiver, but I will be going back to uni for a 9 week block placement, about an hour from home. I have read so much information about what MIGHT happen, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me? How can I make things easier for my mum, with things like food, fatigue, and anythign at all? Does anyone have any tips abour what made things easier for them during this time? Any and all practical advice is welcome. I'm looking forward to hearing from some of you amazing people, rather than leaflets. Thank you so much.
