I am a bit of a worrier by nature. I have at this rash at the top of my left breast/ chest area. I've had for a few weeks and thought it was heat rash. It refuses to go away. I have not used anything on it thinking it would further irritate my skin. Well it is more at the top and I don't have any of the other symptoms. Has anyone else had their rash start at chest area and not near nipple?

    Hi Dmross!

As the Breastcancer.org main site says, breast "changes can be signs of less serious conditions that are not cancerous, such as an infection or a cyst", and "a rash may be the sign of an allergic reaction or infection". Anyway, our recommendation is that those changes should be checked by a doctor.

We hope you'll hear from other members who can offer their personal experiences to reassure you.

    Best wishes.
