Muscles involved please need help

My mother  had surgery (metastatomy) almost 2 weeks ago. She had cancer in her right breast .She had chemo (TAC )for six month then surgery. Today , her surgen told her that there is muscles involed . So , may be they do surgery again  before radiation. Please , I really need advice what did he mean by muscles involved?  Any information will be helpfull

Zohra, the best thing to do is to ask your Mother's surgeon to explain exactly what he or she means.  We would just be guessing, which won't be helpful to you.  Ask what that specifically means, and does it change her treatment plan.   Deanna

Could the surgeon be referring to the findings of the pathology report following mastectomey?  Your mother can ask for a copy of the report.

As dlb823 said, you should ask the doctor for more explanation about the meaning of the result and how it may impact on treatment recommendations.
