Need advice

Hi everyone, I need some advice. First off let me tell you a little about my family. My grandmother died of breast cancer at 55. Her sister had fibroid cyst and had them drained or removed. She then developed breast cancer and had a mastectomy, died afew years ago. My father had colon cancer and liver cancer.

Lung cancer runs on my mother side of the family.

I have also had a lot of MRI and ct scans over the years and even more to do the fact I had a benign tumor the size of grapefruit in my right chest attached to my thymus gland.

I had a mammogram last year thru the women's health center and had dense breast and a ultrasound. The ultrasound found left breast 5 cm from the nipple a hypoechoic partially defined elongated,oval, nonvascular nodule measuring 9 mm. And there are scattered cyst in left breast. Right breast several scattered cyst measuring in different sizes.

I had another ultrasound thru kaiser due to insurance change and the radiologist diagnosed me with fibroid cyst. The left breast the hypoechoic partially defined elongated nodule has grown.

I was told by several women who have had breast cancer to get this biopsy. Please help as I am concerned do to all my risk.

I would definitely find a breast surgeon you really trust and get another opinion . My BS took the lead in my dx, by sending me to a genetic counselor and for an MRI. Hugs.
