Tamoxifen with Calcium D Glucarate

Options

HI,

I started tamoxifen 4 nights ago.  I have also started calcium d glucarate more regularly because I understand it helps the liver metabolize estrogen better and I think this will be beneficial for 2 reasons.

1) Tamoxifen increases estrogen in liver

2) Since estrogen receptors are supposed to be blocked by tamoxifen, i think there is much more "free floating" or "unattached" estrogen in the system so the liver has to work even harder to process the excess.

I also am taking Natural Vitality brand magnesium in the mornings.  I take Calcium d in the morning and at night.  I take Tamoxifen at night.

I was just wondering if anyone else is doing this?

hi there, I took tamoxifen and calcium d glucarate together with no issues really. I didnt take it the whole time. I came off tamoxifen after 7 years in april because I might want to try for a baby. I have been taking calcium d glutamate some when I have a raynauds flare (something which stopped completely on tamoxifen). It seems to help with that. While I dont understand the estrogen and raynauds connection it seems there is one!
