GMOs and rapid tumor growth????

I just read that GMOs use chemicals that have been shown to cause rapid tumor growth. Does anyone have any credible research on this?  And how do you avoid GMOs? I know they can cross contaminate, even without us knowing about it.

I don't have any info but I avoid them as much as I can. Some products have a little symbol on the package that says non gmo, for exampple Uncle Sam cereal. Check it out sometime to become familiar with the symbol. I don't know the effects of consuming gmo, but for one thing, they are modifies to resist roundup, so I assume the gmo foods have roundup on them. I doubt that is healthy to eat. There are certain foods that are practically guaranteed to be gmo, one of which is corn. Need to do more research but I avoid that one too.
