Moles and bone density scan hilarious question

Just back from the dermatologist--- had a light spot on my lip--- noticed last month--- he checks me every 6 omths for moles.... told me that he wants it biopsied.  He doesnt think it is anything, but wants to be sure-- I have probabaly had 20 moles removed over the past 15 years.... he is very aggressive about removing things..

So now I have to go to an oral surgeon in July.  I know my derm is probably right, but I am no longer ever reassured by the words "I don't think it is anything"   Only heartened by the fact that it seems to have just shown up recently--and I did not wear sunscreen on my lips at the Boston Marathon.... so I think he may be right.

At my annual bone density scan (because of these @#$%$ bc drugs) the tech asked me if I had a belly button ring??????? I almost fell off the table laughing.  She said (another one) nothing to be concerned about, there was just a lighter section--- and sometimes that is caused by some types of metals .... I thought it was hilarious.

sigh.... the combination of bc and being 50 really just feels, today, like more than I want to deal with......
