Can IBC itching start on the back? Then spider bites.

About a month ago, the center of my upper back was sore, and I thought I pulled a muscle. Almost at the same time, I developed uncontrollable itching in the same spot on my back. There was nothing visible on the surface, just really bad itching throughout the day for weeks (no new bras or soaps).

Last week, I found a cluster of five red spots on the outside of my right breast, which haven't gone away. Some have little scabs on them and they look like bright red spider bites. And over the past two weeks, my whole upper back is in constant tight, heavy pain.

Yesterday, my right breast and armpit throbbed all day and I took a cool bath. A lymph gland there and in my neck felt swollen. They feel a little better today - I'm still in bed.

I have an appointment with a new ob tomorrow who is next door to a breast oncologist. In the meantime, though, I move between feeling distracted and terror, but I'm trying to act normal in front of my nine year old daughter, who I raise by myself. My main question that would give me some peace is knowing how much time I might have if I have IBC so I can plan - is it weeks, months or years without treatment? - treatment may not be an option for me because of insurance. Any information would help me feel less panic!
