How many of you are DCIS and BRCA2 mutation?

Just curious. My biopsy last month shows DCIS, LCIS so I got checked for BRCA mutation and was positive for BRCA2. I'm going for a double mastectomy in 10 days and am having my gyne monitor me for ovarian cancer. Anyone else with a similar situation?

I tested negative for the BRCA mutations, but wanted to suggest that you check out the BRCA forum which is further down this page ...

I also had DCIS and some IDC and am brca2 positive...I had a double mastectomy in Sept. Of 2012 and got silicone implants on May 31st 2013..I am 34 yrs old and feeling great...Good luck with all the decisions you will need to make, take care!!

Glad you are feeling well. Are you keeping your ovaries too? I'm 41 and am done with children, but am not ready for all the side effects with surgical menopause.
