I'm nervous but I really like my surgeon and glad he got me in so quickly. He's also doing the sentinel node thing, so I hope that turns out well.

Wish me luck!

Best of luck!! I found it wasn't bad and I had a bilateral mastectomy with tissue expanders. What are you having done?

Erin - I am wishing you luck. is it a lumpectomy or MX. I am very glad you really like your surgeon - I really like mine and thought it was most important in my overall good experience, because I was able to put my trust in him and know that he was doing a great job.

Good luck tomorrow - having faith in your surgeon is so important as others have said. I found my fear of the unknown was far worse than the surgery and recovery.  Let's hope yours is the same.

    It's a lumpectomy and a sentinel node removal/biopsy. (I think that's what it's called).

    Thank you!

I'll follow up with chemo then radiation post surgery- I think I got this! xo
